Ockbrook and Borrowash LTC is situated in Borrowash with easy links to the A52, it is a well established and friendly club.
Our mission statement is ‘ To offer a good standard of tennis facilities and coaching service to the local community in which we are situated. Looking to develop and encourage new skills for all ages and abilities’.
We have around 80 members ( 50 adults and 30 juniors) of mixed playing ability. We have just appointed two new coaches James Middleton and Richard Morley to work both with the juniors and adults.
We are affiliated to the British Lawn Tennis Association and are currently working towards achieving the Clubmark accreditation awarded by the LTA to clubs reaching a specified level of club and coaching development.
We have both junior teams coordinated by the coaching team, additionally we have adult teams playing in the Derbyshire Tennis Association leagues (Summer and Winter) we have in the summer league 3 Mens, 3 ladies and 3 mixed teams and in the indoor league -1 mens, 2 ladies and 1 mixed team.
The club has 3 carpet courts and 2 hard courts-available for play all year round- our membership fees are payable annually on the 1st April.
